How to clean your pool in two minutes

How to clean your pool in two minutes: the practical steps and criteria that really matter when you want a cleaner pool, faster and with less effort.

A clean pool does not necessarily require more equipment or more effort. What matters is understanding where dirt gathers and acting before it becomes a major chore.

Start with what floats

Leaves, pollen and insects are much easier to remove before they sink or stick to the waterline. A short, regular pass almost always prevents the big weekend clean.

Work with the wind and begin where debris gathers: corners, skimmers and the edge opposite the prevailing wind.

The right move at the right time

Act while dirt is still fresh. A wide tool reduces the number of passes, while a floating frame means you never carry the weight of the water and debris.

Consistency matters more than force. Two minutes several times a week beats half an hour after everything has settled on the bottom.

Surface, waterline, then filtration

Remove visible matter first, clean the waterline with a gentle accessory, then check filtration and the pool's balance. This order avoids circulating what you have just removed.
